Citations distributed for theft and alcohol

Pitt-Johnstown police charged Laura O’Neil, 19, of Arnold, Westmoreland County, with disorderly conduct Sept. 21, according to a citation.

Officer Edward Ostrowski reported that he responded to a complaint of a stolen handcart from the Post Office. Ostrowski contacted O’Neil about the incident and recovered the cart without incident.

A total fine of $255 was listed for the charge.

In another case, campus police also charged nonstudent Hailey Holsberger, 20, of Lilly with the purchase, consumption, possession or transportation of malt or brewed beverages Sept 30, according to a citation.

Officer Matthew Updyke recorded that he confronted Holsberger in Hemlock Hall lobby, and she had a strong odor of alcohol on her breath.

A total fine of $455 was listed for the charge.

Campus police also charged Killian McNally, 19, of Pittsburgh with public drunkenness and the purchase, consumption, possession or transportation of malt or brewed beverages Sept. 24, according to a citation.

Officer David Smith said he saw a seemingly intoxicated McNally outside Hawthorn Lodge. McNally reportedly fled the Smith, then returned and taunted Smith, according to a citation. A maximum fine was requested.

A total fine of  $910 was listed for the charges.
