Fines listed for drinkin’ & fightin’

Pitt-Johnstown police charged Joseph Barbera, 18, of Harrisburg, Dauphin County, and Jakob Anderson, 18, of Harrisburg, Dauphin County, with public drunkenness and purchase, consumption, possession or transportation of liquor or malt or brewed beverages Dec. 1.

Pitt-Johnstown Police Officer James Voytko Jr. alleged, in citations filed Dec. 5, that Barbera and Anderson had consumed alcohol while being under 21 and appeared in a public place under the influence of alcohol.

A $460 fine was listed for the purchase, consumption, possession or transportation of liquor or malt or brewed beverages offenses, and a $115 fine was listed for the public drunkenness offenses.

Pitt-Johnstown Police Officer Dwight Keim charged Patrick Nelson, 29, of Portage; Tara Pollock, 27, of Portage; and Shane Miller, 32, of Johnstown, with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness Dec. 8.  Randy Collier, 38, of Johnstown, also was charged.

In citations filed Dec. 11, Keim alleged that Nelson, Pollock, Miller and Collier appeared in a public place under the influence of alcohol to a degree that they were a danger to themselves or others in the vicinity, and they intentionally caused public inconvenience, annoyance and alarm by engaging in a fight with no legitimate purpose at a Pediatric Care holiday party.

Collier and Miller were each fined $235 for the public drunkenness offense, and Nelson and Pollock were each fined $460.

Collier and Miller were each fined $115 for the disorderly conduct offense, and Nelson and Pollock were each fined $340.
